How it started
Formula Offroad is a sport that was invented in Iceland. In hope to bring in more money for the Icelandic rescue teams, the teams started to show their 4 wd cars in action in the Icelandic hills. It soon became more and more of a competition between the teams, and soon the teams where building specialy made vehicles for just this purpose. The motorsport Formula Offroad was born.

Classes
In Sweden, Norway and Denmark there is two different classes. Modified and Unlimited. In Modified, the cars could have paddletires and must have a body from a serial manufactured car. In that class they are alowed to use NO2. In the class Unlimited, the drivers can build their cars nearly anyway they want it. They use wide tires with buckets on, to get a nice grip in the hills. The engine can be built in many different ways, and many use NO2 for a extra boost of power.

Terminator 2” with the driver Rolf (Råttan) Keiser is in the unlimited class. Read more about the car and its components.
